Treveshan Naidoo

I often get asked, "Why the name TTD Consulting?" and "Why the bulldog?" Buckle up it’s story time.

Let’s start with the name: TTD Consulting. TTD stands for "Trev The Dev." I began my career in consulting and always had side hustles going. While working at a client, one of the BAs started calling me "Trev The Dev," and it just stuck. As my side hustles grew too big to manage casually, I realized I needed to start a company. In true solo-founder fashion (not thinking anyone else would ever join), I went with TTD and so, Trev The Dev became TTD Consulting.

Now, why the bulldog? The bulldog symbolizes grit and determination. When I was younger, we had a bulldog named Lexus. Due to financial difficulties, we had to give her away and we lost a lot during that time. I made a promise to myself that one day, I’d be successful enough to give my next bulldog the best life possible and never have to let go again. The image on screen right now is of Lexus. Our current logo features a bulldog named Benedict and he’s here to kick ass and deliver value!

TTD Consulting has grown far beyond what I imagined in those early days. What started with one developer and a dream has become a team of passionate, talented individuals committed to building great software and real relationships. Benedict reminds us every day to stay bold, stay loyal, and never back down values we bring into every project and partnership. We’re just getting started, and the best is yet to come.
